Purpose And Disclaimer
This material is intended to assist those who represent the Association as well as sell both insurance and non insurance benefits, products, or services on behalf of the Association. The intent is to inform and thereby create a more educated marketing force. This will help the individual brokers become more specifically educated in association business, more successful in their personal businesses, and more compliant in general.
If you, the broker, can become educated to the point where you can remain out of trouble, then we also stay out of trouble. While the Association cannot take the place of any regulatory agency, it can offer advice and information. The Association is therefore neither intended to replace any function of any state’s department of insurance nor is it intended to circumvent any authority in what it teaches. This material should be construed as vital, important, compliance oriented, and it ought to be followed by each broker whenever representing the Association.
